BLU
BLU was formed as the "virtual corporate university" to provide learning, knowledge sharing and networking opportunities for an estimated 8,000 small business support professionals and civil servants working within the UK business support network. Funded and hosted by the Small Business Service - a part of the Department for Trade and Industry - BLU was decommissioned in March 2006 following the decision to devolve these responsibilities to the Regional Development Agencies.
Julie Coleclough worked with BLU as Associate Head of Knowledge Management from 2004 to 2006.

Deptartment of Health
With the increasing volume and complexity of information needed for daily operations, the Department recognised the need to improve its capability to manage data, information and knowledge - particularly in the context of Records Management.
Julie Coleclough, Roger Williams, Nicky Irlam and Sharon Langford worked with DH from 2009 to 2010 to provide guidance and training for new ways of working with knowledge and information management to meet this requirement.
